I’m looking forward to starting classes tomorrow as I can make a stop in Flint MI, it’s not the best city in the world but it has some nice tall steel buildings and wonderfully build homes from the 19th century. It would be really nice if it could be kept up and preserved.

This is one thing that designers do alot of, preservation. It’s a big Field and can be alot of fun. You do have to know your history though as many of these homes are for show and they need the right furnishings and window treatments and much more. I have always been interested in this type of design as I love history. I don’t think I would have the skills needed for the job though. It’s still interesting how many different things interior designers can do with there degree.
