I have bought some LED bulbs online (which is much cheaper and better selection than in the stores) and I’ve already made up the cost with savings on my electric bill. My favorite LED bulbs are the PAR20 LED, the 36 LED VIVID C.Crane bulb, and one called the Pharox, which is a fantastic replacement bulb for my 40 watt incandescents because the Pharox looks just like a regular light bulb and has a very nice soft, warm glow to the light. They have a money-back guarantee on all their bulbs so it's a good way to try out LEDs and see if they work for you.
