Holly This is a compensated review I received a product from Simplehuman to review and express my opinion on. All thoughts and ideas are my own.
Recently I was given the opportunity to review one of the Simplehuman trash cans. I had never used their products before but was very interested in what they have to offer. They have many products for the home including recycle bins, shower accessories and kitchen organizers, just to name a few.
I expected to get a small trash can, what I got was one that I could use in our kitchen just fine if I wanted to. I put it in my bedroom as this is the place where our dog likes to try to get into our garbage the most. The one in our kitchen is under a cabinet so she can’t get to that. The waste bin did keep the dog out so that was good, but it also made my life a lot easier.
I do all of my school work in my bedroom so I can spread out and not be in anyone’s way. Being able to have a trash can that I could use without my hands was wonderful. All I had to do was push the button with my feet and then the lid on the bin closed on its own so I didn’t have to worry about it and I didn’t have to touch the can with my glue covered hands.
I also liked that the trash bag is held in place without having it show around the edge of the trash can, it looks much cleaner and make your room look more organized. I do love that the stainless steal finish is finger proof. I don’t have children, but I have two nieces and a nephew that visit a lot and they are always touching everything. Even they could not manage to get a print to stay on this finish!
I am so impressed with this product that I will be buying another smaller one that I will be able to use in my office.
