Holly Right now everyone is looking for a way to save money, but at the same time keep the value of their home investment up. There are many easy, quick ways to increase the value of your home without breaking the bank.
Don’t follow trends, but look at them. If you like the trend, use it, but don’t do it if you are looking at moving in 20 years or more, trends change and things like a stainless steel kitchen sink may not be the style by then and you would have put all of this money into your home only to see that it’s now dated and no one wants it. Personally I want a stainless steal sink but my sister wants a farmhouse sink. I prefer stainless because it’s easy to clean, but maybe you don’t like the look, I do.
There are many other things you can do to increase the value of your home for the future and if you plan now, you will be able to save the money to do the big projects like installing hardwood floors, replacing windows and putting on a new roof. Until you have that money saved I would look at small things like that sink, a shower change or even just changing all of the faucets in your home. You also could add a small deck or just repaint to freshen things up.
