Thank for, Melissa, for contributing this guest post
Hello, my name is Melissa and I’m a material girl.
My confessions, you ask? I go shopping at least twice a week on my lunch break. Because of this, my closets are jam-packed with coats, blazers, sweaters, dresses, plain old generic t-shirts, tank tops, and camis in every color under the sun, skinny jeans, skinny pants, skirts, shorts, and at least 50 pairs of boots, ballet flats, heels, and sandals.
I eat out at least four times a week. And I’m not talkin’ Burger King. I’m talkin’ the best sushi, Thai, and Indian places in town (I have a fondness for Asian cuisine).
- I get my nails done exactly every two weeks.
- My hair is touched up and trimmed exactly every six weeks.
My 60-inch LED TV and my Blu-ray player is all hooked up to an incredible Bose sound system. And, of course, I require all the fix-ins such as premium cable and DVR. Oh, and my Xbox 360 allows me access to my Netflix and Hulu accounts right on my TV, as well as provides plenty of gaming entertainment (120 games worth of gaming entertainment…)
I also just purchased a brand new Volkswagen Beetle convertible in Saturn yellow. You’re surprised I didn’t opt for a BMW, aren’t you?
So what else can a girl like me really need? I’ll tell ya what else this girl can really need- a nicer home to keep all my clothes, shoes, and electronics in! Sure, I’ve got all the latest and greatest gadgets, as well as the most up-to-date fashions, but my condo, to say the least, is… not so up-to-date.
So, of course, I’ve recently been checking out some ways in which to improve it. I came across King Iron Works after I decided that my stairs’ handrail and my balcony’s gate can use a sturdy, yet elegant update. The craftsmanship of some of their options are simply regal. I’d recommend taking a look at their website to anyone who is ready to give their home a royal facelift. After all, what’s a bunch of toys without a beautiful toybox to keep them all in?
