Proflowers Sago Palm Bonsai Review
Nothing completes a design more then a well placed plant or two. I love Bonsi plants because they are unique fun and can create a great talking point. Recently I was asked to review this Sago Palm Bonsi from Proflowers and I have to say I love it. It arrived quickly and was intact when I received it. I have had breaking problems with plants before because they were not packaged correctly, but this one was fine. It also was in great health I have received many plants that are almost dying when you get them and many times I’ve had to toss them after trying to revive them, but there were no problems with this plant. I was surprised though at how big it was, I expected something smaller, but it was a very pleasant surprise and I’m extremely happy with it.
Currently my Bonsi is placed in a window in our kitchen as we have covered our upstairs skylights to help keep the heat of summer out, but once summer is over it will be moved along with another plant upstairs to help decorate our hallway where we have niches to put them. I love using plants this way as it adds something to a bland hall. If you don’t have niches try hanging a plant or adding a shelf or table if there is room to your hall.

Light Things Up With a Candle
I love candles and if your like me you have them everywhere. I use them for focal points and to make my home smell fresh and inviting. Recently I was asked to review a candle form D-n-D Ranch Aromas on another blog I run and I jumped at the chance to check these unique candles out. I received a Lilac Blooms candle and I really was very surprised at how good it smells. It’s a strong lilac scent, but it’s smells exactly like lilac. I would really recommend that you check out their selection. They have some great options that are sure to go with your decor.
3 Ways to use your candles
- In a table centerpiece use seasonal plants to create a great look for your table. For summer use fruit or palm leaves.
- Create a candle garden, this would also be a great idea for your dinner table or in a fireplace you don’t use.
- Combine candles, jars and small figurines on an end table to create a great focal point

A great way to complete any interior design project involves placing accessories and when you find something that not only fits your theme but is unique in its own right you have a great design. That is what the products at Novica are, unique items that will complement your home decor in a way that people will notice.
I enjoyed picking out my items from the Novica website. I choose a pitcher and margarita glasses because they match my existing table wear but are at the same time different. I love blue and that is the theme of my kitchen. All of my table ware is blue glass or at least has blue in it. The pitcher and glasses have a blue spiral and since they are handmade in Mexico I can feel good about supporting someone who works hard for their money.
The margarita glasses themselves are a heaver glass and one I feel comfortable using on a pretty regular basis. I don’t feel like I’m going to break them with use and the pitcher is a very large one that will come in handy for hosting barbecues and other summer parties.
The website itself is so easy to navigate and the products offered are sure to impress even the most distinguished person. I had no problems with my order and really enjoyed the shopping experience. My only problem was deciding what to buy. I really would love to tell you some sort of downside to this company, but so far I have yet to see one. With summer comes warm weather, more outdoor activities and the dreaded utility bill from running that air conditioner. One site I have found that has some amazing canvas art is Arts My Passion a really well laid out site that offers some art I have not seen in other place. I love the mix of contemporary and classic art that they have. The piece I have pictured caught my eye very quickly it’s a wonderful Contemporary Canvas Art piece that draws your eye right to it, yet the colors are neutral enough that it would work well in almost any space. I also love the look of the two separate images you can play around with this piece by either keeping it together or separating it to create two pieces of art.
Arts My Passion also has some great Abstract canvas Art and beautiful landscape art. Really there is something for everyone on this site. The hard part will be deciding what piece or pieces to order as I really don’t think you could choose just one and when you add that they ship free world wide you just can’t pass up this great art.
